Full Description
Preface:This is the fifth edition of CSA Z240.10.1,
Site preparation, foundation, and installation of buildings. It supersedes the previous editions published in 2016 and 2008 under the title
Site preparation, foundation, and anchorage of manufactured homes, in 1994 under the title
Site Preparation, Foundation, and Anchorage of Mobile Homes, and in 1986 under the title

Significant changes to this edition address climate change adaptation with revisions and new provisions which include the following:
a) sources for climate data;
b) protection against effects of flooding;
c) deterioration resistance; and
d) addition of a new annex A on environmental design data and climate change.
This Standard is intended to be referenced by regulatory authorities, land-lease community owners, and building designers and installers so that proper on-site installation of buildings can be achieved.
CSA Group acknowledges that the development of this Standard was made possible by the financial support of the Standards Council of Canada.
This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group.
